Mike Whitney

Our professional coaches include:

 Michael Whitney is head of the Teen Rock Shop. He also gives private and group guitar lessons in Binghamton, New York for all ages, styles and standards.

He has been teaching for 20+ years and has written a chord manual and designed a teaching curriculum for easy learning to use in his weekly guitar lessons.

Recent live work includes, Community Theater, Teen Rock Shop concerts and headlining at the Kidz4muzik Festival with his Mom & Dad band . As well as playing with country band the Wild One’s, he has also composed music and performs as a singer/songwriter.

He teaches electric, acoustic and bass guitar.

Jo Whitney- www.jowhitney.com is a live performance coach at the Teen Rock Shop. She created and designed the Teen Rock Shop program. She also wrote the “Teen Rock Shop Manual”, and “Southern Rockpitality”, How to improve your band.

She has been teaching and Live Performance workshop for 10+ years by using activities from the Teen Rock Shop Manual .Recent workshops presented include the Southern Rockpitality Workshop.

Jo coaches songwriting, vocals, and live performance.
